Su Koh Design is working with the Science Museum on the redesign of the East Concourse -  the museum’s main entrance space on Exhibition Road.
The project introduces a new architectural and material scheme across this 1000 sqm concourse, creating a stronger and more welcoming arrival sequence for one of the world’s leading science museums. The design addresses both the civic presence of the museum entrance and the practical demands of a high-traffic visitor environment.
The concept proposes coordinated changes to flooring, lighting, material palette and spatial organisation to improve visitor circulation, orientation and the overall arrival experience. The scheme also integrates ticketing, security and visitor flow  into a clearer and more legible entrance sequence.
The project aims to establish a more coherent and engaging arrival experience while enabling the concourse to support future exhibitions, events and public programmes.
