“ Sometimes you know you are going to love an exhibition from the very first artwork ... in this beautifully designed exhibition, which boasts its own deckchairs and seaside-town benches ”
- The Telegraph ⭐⭐⭐⭐
“ We at Londonist are a sucker for a well designed exhibition and this show gets top marks ”
- The Londonist ⭐⭐⭐⭐
I designed ‘The Great British Seaside’ exhibition featuring the best of seaside photography, including works by Tony Ray-Jones, David Hurn, Martin Parr and Simon Roberts.
The exhibition design takes inspiration from the playful qualities of the seaside. Each section has different seaside seating. In the middle of the gallery are a series of abstract beach huts, housing a seaside cinema showing short films of the photographers.

Outside the exhibition, I created a pop-up beach, inspired by seaside cut-out photographs. Visitors are asked to take a selfie sitting on the deck chairs, with the props provided against a commissioned Martin Parr photograph in the background.
